Globally renowned as one of the leading premium clothing brands since 1985, Tommy Hilfiger has over 2,000 retail stores across Europe, North America, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region. Out of the 43 UK stores, ten of them are located in London.
Amongst the vibrant range of luxurious fashion and upmarket stores within the City of London’s Broadgate area and located at 100 Liverpool Street is Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship store.
SARUM ELECTRONICS
Only opened in 2020, the company ensured an efficient and sustainable approach to energy was available
for the HVAC system.
Working as partners with Summit Mechanical, Sarum Electronics manufactured and supplied the following HVAC equipment and control solutions:
• A Sarum bespoke HVAC control panel to control temperature & ventilation.
• Heat Recovery Ventilation Units for energy recovery and circulation of fresh air.
• Multiple fan coil units, controlled by Sarum's panel, which also uses outside temperature and winter / summer settings, to optimise energy usage.
• An energy meter fitted in the panel with current transformers and additional Kamstrup energy meters, to display the energy used by the heating and cooling circuits.
FULLER'S, THE WHITE HORSE, WEMBLEY, LONDON
Part of the City’s largest regeneration area and mixed-use development, Wembley Park, is the location of The White Horse pub and restaurant,
one of the 400 UK pubs owned by Fuller’s that backs on to the legendary Wembley Stadium.
Well-known chain restaurants of this kind are essentially designed to provide a first- rate dining experience for their customers, and quality heating and ventilation control plays a significant role in this.
Working with Fuller’s contractor, Summit Design, Sarum Electronics were
commissioned to design, manufacture and supply a HVAC control panel solution to manage warm and fresh airflow along with air quality for The White Horse’s commercial kitchen and restaurant area.
The HVAC control solution by Sarum Electronics incorporated a Sarum bespoke control panel fitted with the following modules and various HVAC components:
• Electrostatic Precipitator (air quality). • Odour control module to ensure
environmental compliance.
• Heat Recovery Units (HRU).
• Low-Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) heating. • Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) direct
expansion (DX) cooling coils.
• Fire alarm interface.
• Hand / Off / Auto safety.
• Multiple supply & extraction fans.
